With the holidays quickly approaching, if you haven’t already locked in your holiday marketing strategy now is the time to really get planning! We’ve composed a list of ten ways to market your practice specifically leading up to Christmas!
1. Themed Google Ads
The holiday season is a great time to put out ads that have the added benefit of a holiday theme to add some pizazz and help them stand out. With many people spending extra time online shopping for gifts you can extend your audience reach and benefit from increased traffic. As many as 8 in 10 holiday shoppers are influenced by the internet before making a purchase or booking a service, with search engines being the most influential factor.1 Check out our website to learn more about how we can manage your Google ads campaigns!
2. Holiday Social Media Giveaway
Giveaways are a great low-cost method to increase engagement and grow your total follower count. Having users like, comment, and share your post can lead to organic reach and even increased traffic to your website if you have a link. Make sure that your website is up-to-date and has holiday hours clearly listed.
3. Holiday-Themed Email Blasts
Send marketing emails to your patients this season that offer tips for hearing health through the holidays. Remind people to book an appointment before the end of the year, and thank them for their loyalty while wishing them a happy holiday season! If you have any sort of promotion or sale going on, emails are a great way to promote your sale in a way that people can easily forward to others.
4. Themed Direct Mail
A personalized holiday-themed greeting card wishing your patients a Merry Christmas or Happy New Year is a great way to keep in touch. You can also include a reminder to schedule a yearly appointment, just in time to be on people’s New Years Resolutions lists.
Remember that print marketing takes time and advanced planning in order to make sure that it reaches customers’ homes on schedule! The deadline for this year’s Beeman holiday print promos to hit homes the week of December 20th – 24th is December 2nd! Check out our consultation form here!
5. End of Season Sale
Entice bargain shoppers and those still on the hunt for seasonal promotions. While Black Friday might be over, shoppers will still be looking for savings. According to LocaliQ, One-third of consumers say their holiday weekend spending is driven by holiday promotions.1 You could also consider offering a “free gift with purchase” to add value to already existing sales.
6. Charity Donations
Help give your patients an easy way to give back! Consider starting a toy or food drive to give back to your local community. Have an in-office donation box or dedicated area to make things easy for your patients.
7. Gift Cards
Everyone has someone in their life who is impossible to think of gifts for! Gift cards are a great option for the person who already has everything! You could also consider offering gift cards for a certain amount or percentage off for customers who bring in referrals. According to the NRF and Prosper Insights & Analytics October 2021 Consumer Holiday Survey, a whopping 56% of consumers listed gift cards as the top gift they would like to receive this holiday season. 2
8. Holiday-Themed Video
Video marketing lets your patients get to know you on a more personal level. Take this time to thank your patients with a positive message. Make sure to showcase your office and show off any holiday decorations you have up. This is also a great way to give people a feeling of your overall brand, not just the products or services that you offer.
